Sometimes life can be really challenging

but you don't have to cope alone.

Whether you are finding it hard to manage, going through a stressful situation,

wanting to make change in your life, trying to live with past trauma or simply

don't know how you feel, then therapy can be a way for you to figure out what

you need to thrive in your life.

How I work

I believe you hold the key to your own process and that no shoe fits all.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space for you to explore what you are going through, find coping strategies, work through feelings, and find understanding. As an integrative and relational therapist, I work with you to identify your counselling needs and adapt my approach to them so we can find a way forward together. I draw from a core person-centred approach but use psychodynamic practices so that we can use the present and the past to build on self-awareness and understanding of your experience. Through our relationship, we can explore your needs and emotions and can identify, work through and create the changes you want to make for yourself.

Areas of experience

I am a trauma-informed therapist who works extensively with trauma including working with clients

who have survived rape, are coping with past sexual or physical abuse, have experienced relational or narcissistic abuse, are working with shame, suicidal feelings or self harm. This work can be very challenging but I provide a safe space for clients to feel able to work with their trauma at their pace, so they can begin to heal and thrive beyond it.

I also work with relationship   issues, healing from and surviving parental relational difficulty, living with loss and grief, depression, anxiety, self-image and self esteem, exploring sexual and gender identity, loneliness , stress, parenting struggles and miscarriage.

What to expect

I offer a free 30 minute consultation where we can meet each other, explore what you are looking for from counselling, and you can ask any questions you have. If you feel comfortable and we feel we can work together. then we will arrange your first session.

If you are looking for short-term exploration, regular long-term support, or just want to check in with how you feel about your life right now, I could be the right counsellor for you.

Fee - £45 per hour
